Hypnobirthing Support Options

Calm, Confident, Birth Preparation

Birth isn’t something you “control.”

It’s something you prepare for - emotionally, physically, and through your nervous system.

This work is designed to help you feel more calm, connected, and capable as you move toward birth - not by offering perfect certainty, but by building internal steadiness you can return to no matter what unfolds.

HypnoBirthing is a way of helping your nervous system feel safe and steady as you move toward birth. This preparation combines deep relaxation, breathwork, visualization, and subconscious conditioning to support a more grounded and regulated experience of pregnancy and birth.

This approach is supportive no matter how you plan to give birth; whether that’s unmedicated, medicated, or a cesarean birth, and whether you already have a clear plan or are still exploring your options. It’s designed for both first-time and experienced parents who want a more grounded, supported, and emotionally prepared birth experience.

Two Ways to Work Together

Some people want structured guidance and community.

Some people need deeper, individualized support.

Both are valid. Both are supported here.

GROUP HYPNOBIRTHING PROGRAM

6 Weeks | $600 | 90-Min Weekly Sessions

A guided HypnoBirthing experience focused on nervous system regulation, hypnosis, and emotional preparation for birth.

This is not a traditional childbirth education class.

This is a structured experience designed to help you feel grounded, supported, and more confident in your body’s ability to move through birth.

What This Program Focuses On

Each season is a new cohort - summer 2026 starts July 19th - August 19th 2026 at 6:30 - 8:00pm central time via Zoom.

You will learn and practice three core internal tools throughout the program:

• Your Anchor
A simple, practiced cue (breath, touch, phrase) that helps you return to steadiness during intensity.

• Your Safe Place
An internal grounding space you can access anytime to settle your nervous system.

• Your Inner Birth Team
An internal support system you can connect with for reassurance, strength, and emotional grounding.

These tools are repeated and strengthened each week so your nervous system learns them — not just your mind.

What’s Included

  • 6 live 90-minute group sessions

  • Guided hypnosis + nervous system practices

  • Structured birth preparation through an emotional + embodied lens

  • Weekly tools and practices to integrate between sessions

  • Recordings to support ongoing practice

  • One dedicated partner session (Session 4 only)

Partner Session (Included)

Your partner joins one dedicated session focused on:

  • how to support a regulated nervous system during labor

  • staying steady under intensity

  • using your anchor system in real time

  • what actually helps vs what overwhelms during birth

This is not about giving partners more information, it’s about teaching them how to support calm, grounded presence when it matters most.

This Program Is For You If You Want

  • structured preparation for birth

  • nervous system tools you can actually use in labor

  • emotional grounding and confidence

  • a supportive group experience

What Individual Hypnobirthing Focuses On

Each session is adapted in real time to what you need most, whether that is emotional regulation, fear processing, nervous system support, or birth preparation.

What’s Included

  • Customized hypnosis recordings

  • Personalized nervous system regulation tools

  • Tailored birth preparation and integration

  • Ongoing emotional and experiential support throughout pregnancy

Partner Session (Included)

When helpful to your journey, your partner is invited into select moments of the work so you can prepare for birth together in a grounded, connected way.

This is not about turning your partner into a birth expert, it’s about helping them become a steady, supportive presence you can lean on during labor and birth.

When included, your partner is guided in:

  • how to hypnotize you during labor/birth

  • how to support your nervous system during labor without overthinking or over-functioning

  • how to stay grounded when intensity rises

  • how to use your anchor system in real time (breath, touch, and cues)

  • what actually helps you feel safe and supported vs what increases stress

The focus is on calm presence, co-regulation, and clarity - so you both feel more prepared and connected moving into birth together.

What it’s like working with me.

Working with Dana during my pregnancy helped me through my birth and postpartum experience more than I can even describe. I wanted my birth to be a beautiful empowering experience, but I was terrified of it, so I didn’t think that was possible. Her coaching and hypnosis completely shifted my mindset. I felt a calm, grounded confidence build in the weeks leading up to the birth. She helped me tap into a warrior part of myself who I truly felt was by my side during birth, even as my birth went very differently than I had planned. It ended up being the most peaceful experience, largely due to the tools Dana gave me. And now as a new mom, I utilize that warrior self every day, and I truly feel like I’m a better, happier mother because of it. Dana is intuitive, compassionate, and downright brilliant. She was born to do this work. I recommend her to all of my pregnant friends because I can’t imagine going through this experience without her.

Dana is an incredible hypnotherapist. I worked with her during my pregnancy to both prepare for delivery, as well as, heal some persistent grief. It was the first time trying anything like this and Dana was so kind and educated me well on the science behind this type of therapy. We utilized many interventions within hypnotherapy; it was truly an incredible experience! I send all of my pregnant friends and just anyone feeling stuck in whatever life is throwing at them to Dana!

My Birth Story

Dana McCausland with her newborn son

Before birthing my son, my knowns around birth had been built from a story I heard my entire life… my own birth. My mother had an extremely rare complication when pregnant with my twin sister and I. We were 8 weeks premature and my mother was in a medically induced coma for two weeks. The idea that “we all almost didn’t make it” was reinforced so many times growing up that I was terrified to ever give birth before I even understood the concept.

As a pregnant person, others want to tell you their most horrifying “giving birth in the car” or “close call” stories. It’s EXTREMELY unhelpful and we are already carrying enough fears and stories about birth… thanks, but we don’t need more.

A woman in a hospital bed with a nasal cannula, lying with her eyes closed and her hand on another person's hand, who is leaning over her.

As soon as I found out I was pregnant, I knew I needed help rewriting my knowns about birth and help to make room for MY OWN birth story. My goal above all else was to feel calm, empowered and release what was never mine to hold. Hypnobirthing gave me just that!

I had a beautiful medicated birth at St. Luke in Denver on February 24th, 2022. Were there emotional ups and downs? You bet! Was I scared at times? Absolutely! But above all else, Hypnobirthing allowed me to feel calm through the storms of emotions, empowered me to realize that I could experience this birth any way I chose, and that no matter how this boy was brought into this world (medicated, natural, c-section), it would be birth!
